What is the Portfolio Impact Dashboard?

The Portfolio Impact Dashboard is where a funder can review on-demand details about their portfolio’s progress toward impact as measured by the Framework. The summaries and charts are updated as the nonprofits in the portfolio engage with the Resilia platform.

The top section focuses on the organizational impact of nonprofits in the portfolio. It explains what nonprofits are focusing on to grow and build their capacity and how they are impacting their internal organizational health and development. This section includes two charts and a top-level summary that includes any qualitative details that have been submitted.

Organizational Impact Goals

Summary: historical data related to priorities, confidence levels, as well as organizational and impact goals segmented by impact type

Top Selected Priorities Chart: These are the most commonly selected capacity-building priorities for organizations in your portfolio as selected by the leaders of those organizations when completing the Needs Assessment during onboarding to the Resilia platform. More priorities will be selected than displayed in this chart, but these priorities have been selected the most within your portfolio. The priorities are displayed in a bar graph, conveying those leaders’ assessment of their organizations’ general understanding of that priority.

This graph is intended to provide a high-level overview of what’s important to organizations and how much they need to learn and understand. Over time, organization leaders can revisit and reassess their previously selected priorities and reevaluate their organization’s understanding. As nonprofits grow and realize their organizational impact, understanding will improve and organization leaders may identify new priorities where there is a need for improvement. These changes will be reflected in the graph accordingly.

You can also filter the data in this chart to see changes over specific time periods.

Data Widgets: The data points across the top of the chart provide counts of organization-specific details that help you better understand the nonprofits in your portfolio.

Total Organizational Goal Progress: This chart tracks progress toward goals categorized as organizational impact goals in the platform. At a glance, this graph shows how a portfolio is improving and growing its organizational impact. If the line goes up, grantees are completing tasks faster than tasks are being added, implying that they are making great strides on their organizational impact.

If the line goes down, grantees are completing tasks slower than tasks are being added. While not a bad sign, it does indicate that they are taking more time to complete work that leads to growing their organizational impact. If the line is stagnant, neither up or down, grantees are completing and adding tasks at a similar rate. While they may be taking actions toward growing their organizational impact, they may also not be tracking their progress in Resilia.

Mission Impact Goals

Summary: historical data related to priorities, confidence levels, as well as organizational and impact goals segmented by impact type

Mission Goal Progress

This chart tracks progress toward goals categorized as mission impact goals in the platform. While mission impact goals are unique to every organization, the goal charts they use to record and track their progress creates a cohesive and coherent understanding of goal progress across a portfolio. This enables you to see momentum and change in your portfolio over time as data points are added to individual charts.

If the line goes up: grantees are making progress toward their goal targets. If the line is flat, grantees are not making progress toward targets, or if they are, they aren’t reporting it in Resilia. If the line goes down, grantees are  creating  goals but have yet to add any data points to the related chart. While they may be making progress on their mission goals, they may not be tracking their progress in Resilia.

Data Widgets: The data points across the top of the chart provide counts of specific activities that nonprofit users engage with on the Resilia platform that help them grow their mission impact.
